VIPER at Bangers Open Air Festival on 2025!

Viper The current lineup, with Leandro Caçoilo (vocals), Felipe Machado and Kiko Shred (guitars), Pit Passarell (bass and vocals) and Guilherme Martin (drums), will perform the album “Evolution” (1992) in its entirety at Bangers Open Air 2025.

In this special show, which will also feature hits from all phases of their career, the audience will be able to listen to classics such as “Rebel Maniac”, “Evolution”, “Dead Light”, “The Shelter” and “The Spreading Soul”.

Formed in 1985 by Andre Matos (vocals), brothers Pit Passarell (bass) and Yves Passarell and Felipe Machado (guitars) and Cássio Audi (drums), the São Paulo group is one of the pioneers of Brazilian metal and in 2025 will celebrate 40 years since its debut on stage, which took place on April 8, 1985 at Lira Paulistana.

The first recording came in 1987 with the album “Soldiers of Sunrise”, followed by “Theatre of Fate” (1989). The discography also includes “Evolution” (1992), “Coma Rage” (1994), “Tem Pra Todo Mundo” (1996) and “All My Life” (2007). With the current lineup came the album “Timeless” (2023), the first of new material in 15 years and which featured the tracks “Under the Sun”, “Freedom of Speech” and “The Android”.

If VIPER has already been featured live at major festivals, such as Rock in Rio 2013 and 2022, and Monsters of Rock, in addition to having shared the stage with Metallica, Kiss, Black Sabbath and Motörhead, among others, expect something remarkable at Bangers Open Air 2025!
